The Hazelnuts are popularly known for sweeping large and varied audiences off and on their feet with the swing fever. The band’s tight vocal harmony is greatly inspired by the American close-harmony-singing trios of the 1930s. They are accompanied by their vintage band and take us on a journey back to good old New Orleans, along with their own original songs and surprising arrangements for up-to-date hits.

After releasing their new live album in June 2016, The Hazelnuts have had the honor of performing for thousands of people at festivals such as the Marseille Jazz des Cinqs Continents (FR), Red Sea Jazz Festival (IL), Tel Aviv Jazz Festival (IL), The Boswell Sisters tribute festival in New Orleans (USA), “Days of Jerusalem” Festival in Prague (CZ) and “Mikser House” (RS).

The band consists of Shira Z. Carmel, Yifeat Ziv, Anat Moshkovski on voice, songs and arrangements, Yuval Vilner on the guitar, Menachem Welt on bass, Haim Peskoff on the drums and washboard and Eli Preminger on the Trumpet.
